Road Trip 1.0
The story thusfar of the illustrious trio's road trip adventures:
- Corning (California): bug infested, trucker country. Christian parenting books in the convenience store. Outside jacuzzi filled with a large quantity of chlorine with a dab of water.
- Crater Lake: beautiful sunken volcano with bits of snow along the road.
- Steamboat Inn: charming place on a gorgeous river with family style dining and overly intense dinner companions. Blaring alarms that announce our arrival to our rental house with the rock hard bed. Gorgeous drive over the mountains the next day.
- Portland: great character, hip restaurants and bars, art all over including shoe stores, great shopping and doughnuts as big as your head. I'm definitely going back.
- Mcmenamins Edgefield: fun place with years of history filling the place with character, murals on nearly every square inch of the place, dormitory style shared bathroom, drama with the drunk people at the pool table.
- Columbia River Gorge: gorgeous waterfalls, magical gorge with death-defying feats, far too much hiking.
- Astoria: kick-ass hotel on the Columbia River as it opens up into the Pacific. Great food, small little town. Looking forward to driving down the coast.
