Here's the new painting I got this weekend. I was deeply moved by the piece when I saw it and within a few minutes decided to fork out the money to get it. The artist describes the work as a meditation piece. I strongly connected with that vibe and decided to get the piece as an act of self-nurturing and healing. After I got it home I was surprised by the fact that one could easily find some pretty blatant symbolism that relates to my current life changes whiched helped me understand even more why it spoke to me so strongly.

The piece is about 23"x30". I'll probably hang it above the piano keyboard in my living room area. I'm going to look into framing for it as well.
