My brother-in-law and his wife are trying to have a second child. Fine. Information I can handle. Tonight sister-in-law states that she's fertile. Ooookay... She says that she needs to stay up late enough so that hubby could get home and do his thing. (damn, I didn't want to know that.) And it gets worse... Mother-in-law calls father-in-law and tells him to bring brother-in-law home so he can boff sister-in-law. (...so freakin' eeeew)
Damn, hideously digusting information. I cannot believe that it was openly discussed and plotted that the children would be doing the nasty not 15 feet from where the parents sleep. What creeps me out the most is that the mother was the one who made sure it happened...
I'm so disowning this family.
comment already
because there’s nothing that amuses me more than hearing your pathetic opinion
Geez, didn't you know theres's a huge difference between procreation and screwing/getting it on/making love/having your way/getting your leg over etc.
One has nothing to do with the other.
Parents are ok with procreation, however they think sex is disgusting.

The problem is, my parent-in-laws have demonstrated in the past that they are veeeery open to talking about sex for reasons other that procreation. In an abstract sense, I'm very glad they have sex and enjoy it. In a specific sense, I'm not so glad they told us they walk around the house naked and offered to send us an oil spritzer for use in the bedroom. How many times can I say "eew?"

hmmm, maybe you're just repressed...
on the other hand, sex was never discussed in my home nor my wife's. we had several issues that had to be worked through after marriage. some based on misunderstanding, some due to misconceptions, and some due to selfishness. would that have changed had "sex-talk" been more open in the formative years? i dunno. it could be that that is just how we were wired from birth.
